Audie Ray Lambert, 58 of Bedford, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on Monday, May 16, 1955 in Covington, a son of Frances Taylor Lambert of Roanoke, who survives and the late Oliver Eugene Lambert. He was a member of Bedford Presbyterian Church . In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Graves Lambert; his daughter, Ashleigh Megan Lambert; his brother, David Lambert & wife, Linda; brother-in-law, Gene Graves & wife, Patsy; two nieces, Taylor Lambert & Lindsay Graves; a nephew, Michael Wayne Graves as well as many aunts, uncles, friends & a special friend, Lisa Saunders. The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider Bedford Presbyterian Church, 105 W. Main Street, Bedford, VA 24523, American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 11537, Alexandria, VA 22312, Kidney Foundation of Virginia, 2601 Willard Road, Suite 103, Richmond, VA 23294. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11 AM at Bedford Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Salley officiating. The family will receive friends following the services in the fellowship hall and other times at the residence. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
