Ada Wilkerson Mitchell, 77 of Moneta, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on Monday, April 6, 1936 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Charlie Edward Wilkerson Sr. and Elma Tosh Wilkerson. Surviving are her husband, Wallace D Mitchell of Moneta, sons, Micah D. Mitchell & wife Donna of Roanoke, Glenn D. Mitchell of Moneta, grandson, Jeremy Mitchell, granddaughter, Whitney Mitchell, great granddaughter, Elizabeth, brother, Charlie E. Wilkerson Jr. of Huddleston and brother-in-law, James Foster of Bassett. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at Virginia Memorial Park with Rev. Melvin Harris officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 22, 2013 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. at the funeral home.
