Hilda Faith Witt, 60 of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on Wednesday, December 6, 1961 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Garland Alvin Witt and Iris Virginia Amos Witt.
Hilda was retired from Walmart after 32 years as Personnel Manager and was a member of Nicopolis United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Dale Witt; her sons, Christopher D. Witt & girlfriend, Brittany Manley, Cody W. Witt & wife, Ashley; her grandchildren, Jasper and Ramsey; her brother, Garland Alvin Witt, Jr. & wife, Theresa; nieces, Mary Witt, Olivia Wentworth & husband, Nick; nephew, Michael Witt as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and special friends, Danny & Cathy Goff.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Earl Ragland & Rev. Steve Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in Nicopolis United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Thursday evening at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
